Understanding the Law of Attraction: A Guide for Manifesting Your Dreams

 

One of the most common questions I receive from students and potential clients is - what exactly is the “law of attraction”? As an intuitive mindset coach and manifestation teacher, I'm here to unravel this mystical concept that has been immensely life-changing for myself and many around the world.

The phrase, law of attraction, has been in vogue for some time and has been immensely life-changing for many around the world. But what exactly is the law of attraction?

The law of attraction can be simplified to this concept: We attract into our lives whatever we are focusing our thoughts and energy on, and “Like attracts like”.

Many people confuse the law of attraction with simply desiring their dreams - really intensely. But that’s only half of the equation.

In order for you to fully harness the law of attraction correctly, you need to not only believe in your heart of hearts that you deserve the happiness, success, joy, and whatever else is important to you…

you also must take inspired action and put the effort in (as long as these actions are in alignment with what you desire).

The law of attraction can be utilized in different ways, journaling prompts and mindset methodologies such as affirmations and visualization can help cement new thought patterns designed to uplift you and recognize your inner strength and ability.

Practical Techniques for Applying the Law of Attraction: There’s a plethora of different techniques, but the trick is to find one that works best for you. Here are a few to get you started or take you to the next level:

  1. Visualization

    • Visualization is such a vital and powerful tool for using the law of attraction because it allows you to see and experience achieving your goals. When you visualize your dream reality you’re literally teaching your brain, your nervous system and your subconscious mind how to experience the end result you’re manifesting.

    • When it feels familiar to you in this way you will begin to more naturally draw ideas, people and situations to you that will help you make it a reality! This is one of the most effective ways to use the law of attraction.

  2. Gratitude

    • Using gratitude prompts is another amazing law of attraction practice. Tapping into gratitude to remind yourself of all of the wonderful things in your current reality is an excellent way to reframe your mind to appreciate the good and beautiful.

    • Remember, with the Law of Attraction like attracts like and in ANY dream or wish you fulfill you will no doubt experience gratitude for it so it’s the perfect go to emotion and vibe to tap into!

  3. Identifying Limiting Beliefs

    • It’s truly our own beliefs that limit what we experience and can cause resistance from allowing in what we actually desire. We can desire something but not fully believe it’s possible and therefore repel instead of attract what we want!

    • Journaling serves as a powerful tool for self-reflection, enabling you to delve deep into the root causes of your emotions and beliefs. Through the process of journaling, you can gain clarity on why you feel the way you do and uncover hidden patterns or limiting beliefs that may be holding you back.

    • By shining a light on these subconscious barriers, journaling paves the way for transformative breakthroughs, allowing you to release old patterns and embrace new possibilities for growth and fulfillment and of course manifest those dreams into reality!
